BONES 200th Episode Celebration Photos

038

Are you guys ready for the 200th episode of Bones this week?

We sure are!

Tonight, the cast and crew celebrated the milestone with a fancy shindig in Hollywood, and we here at Thank You Liz Lemon would like to send them our sincere congratulations on the remarkable achievement. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!

To tide us all over until then, here’s a sample of some photos taken tonight at the party. Looks like it was a lot of fun! Way to go, guys!

(Does Bones have the best-looking cast on television or what?!)

“The 200th in the 10th” airs Thursday at 8/7c on FOX. Will you be watching? We definitely will be! Tune in afterwards for Cassidy’s always-excellent recap of the episode.

(Cassidy, our resident tech guru, will fix this and add the rest of the pictures tomorrow. Right now, some of us need to get to bed because we are not on PST.)

BONES S10 Stills: “The Lost Love in the Foreign Land.”

“The Lost Love in the Foreign Land” is Bones‘ sixth episode this season, airing on November 6 at 8/7c on FOX.

With that intriguing title, you might be wondering what the episode is about…

According to the press release, the team will be investigating the murder of an immigrant maid whose body was found on the side of the road. Yet, the investigation will take a turn when the team finds out the victim might have been brought illegally into the United States – i.e. this is probably a case of human trafficking. Everywhere else, Arastoo is our squintern of the week and we are in for some wedding talk between Cam and him. Moreover, tensions will be rising between Cam and Brennan as Arastoo is readying his dissertation for Brennan’s approval.

Without further ado… here are the promotional stills for this episode.

While she insists she doesn’t have a specific type of show, they all usually have strong but flawed lady characters, some derivation of the stubborn friends-in-love/friends-to-lovers trope, and they all make her yell at her tv a lot. She just wishes she had more hours in the day so she could actually write about this.

BONES S10 Episode Stills: “The Corpse at the Convention”

Despite the lack of episode on October 23rd, Bones will be back with a new episode, titled “The Corpse at the Convention,” on October 30th (at 8/7c, as always).

In the episode, the team will attend a forensic convention in which Brennan is the keynote speaker… and murder will happen. With so many attendees offering their expertise and products, it will seem as if Hodgins is guilty, so the team will do everything they can to prove his innocence. This episode will also mark the return of Brennan’s novelist rival Tess Brown (played by Nora Dunn). Wendell, will be the squintern of the week and has some news to share regarding his cancer diagnosis. [You can read the whole press release here. I’m pretty stoked by a couple of people guest-starring.]

BONES 10×03 Debriefing: “I picked you, didn’t I?”

bones cast s10

Last week’s episode brought closure to the long-running conspiracy and also honored Sweets’ memory with a beautiful and unconventional funeral.

Tonight’s episode, however, did not forget about him, but its overall tone was not somber — even though there was a theme of trust weaved in the episode, there was also some fun — it was just what you would come to expect from an episode!

BONES 10×01 Debriefing: “I fought back. You’d be proud”

Things were explosive when we last checked in with the Jeffersonian team. I could go on an elaborate but quick recap of the finale here, but this Buzzfeed post actually does a great job.

If you are here, I bet you just want to get right to discussing the events that transpire in that fast-paced season ten (!) premiere, am I right? (Especially that ending. Oh god.)

BONES Season 10 Episode stills: “The Purging of the Pundit”

bones cast s10

Keeping with its Monday tradition, FOX has just released some promotional stills for Bones’ third episode this season, titled “The Purging of the Pundit.” It’s airing on Thursday, October 9th at 8/7c.

(We have to upload the pictures to our site anyway for our reviews, so why not share, right?)

You can check the press release here (spoilers ahead!): the murder of the week is a conservative radio host and the squintern is  Rodolfo Fuentes, the Cuban defector we were introduced to in “The Repo Man in the Septic Tank” last season. Other storylines include James Aubrey trying to earn Booth’s trust and Brennan being worried about Booth’s psychological wellbeing (or, as it’s been teased, his PTSD).

Happy Birthday BONES!

bones cast s10

On this day in 2005, Bones first graced our screens. It’s been a wild ride ever since, with car chases and fugitives and babies and weddings and more bad guys than you can shake a stick at.

Since we’re such fans of the show here at TYLL, we decided we’d try to collect our Top 10 moments on Bones, to celebrate not only its birthday, but its upcoming tenth season premiere on September 25!

(Full disclosure: it’s impossible to pick just 10, after nearly 200 episodes. Consider this an abridged version of that list.)

Nels knew how to operate a TV remote control before she knew how to talk. As a result, she has spent an inordinate amount of time pretending she actually lives on a soundstage. When she isn’t watching whichever show is currently capturing her heart, she is writing about how said show is currently capturing her heart. She loves pie.
