The big day has finally arrived — Dee gets an actual speaking role in a movie! Only, her “art house” movie takes a strange turn, and the gang has to break it to her that her movie might not be as “foreign” as she thinks it is…

Is this an embarrassment of riches, or what? Not only are The X-Files back, but we get two episodes within 24 hours!

Tonight’s outing is classic X-Files, with human experiments and alien DNA and Mulder and Scully getting into a whole lot of trouble. Add in a dash of personal reflection on past choices, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for pretty riveting — and heart-wrenching — episode to follow up yesterday’s premiere.

With only six weeks to tell this particular story, the show is wasting no time to jump into the action, so let’s dive right in with our favorite agents back at the FBI and ruffling feathers.

THE X-FILES 10×01 Debriefing: Same old conspiracy song and dance

THE X-FILES: L-R: Gillian Anderson as Dana Scully and David Duchovny as Fox Mulder. The next mind-bending chapter of THE X-FILES debuts with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, Jan. 24 (10:00-11:00 PM ET/7:00-8:00 PM PT), following the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, and continuing with its time period premiere on Monday, Jan. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). The thrilling, six-episode event series, helmed by creator/executive producer Chris Carter and starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as FBI Agents FOX MULDER and DANA SCULLY, marks the momentous return of the Emmy Award- and Golden Globe-winning pop culture phenomenon, which remains one of the longest-running sci-fi series in network television history. ©2015 Fox Broadcasting Co. *Insert “The Truth Is Still Out There” pun here*

Fourteen years after the original series went off the air, and eight years after its last movie was released, it feels downright strange to be reviewing a brand-new episode of The X-Files. Like we’ve hit some sort of collective rewind button, sharing this trip down memory lane all together.

Yet somehow, the most quintessentially ‘90s show feels topical, since it seems like maybe all those government conspiracies Fox Mulder raved about to anyone who’d listen (and many who wouldn’t) over the last few decades aren’t so fantastical after all. Mulder and Scully are back, a little older and wiser and battle-worn, but don’t let that fool you — these two are in the thick of it, and for that, we should all be grateful.

Grab your tinfoil hats and alien-grade icepicks, because it’s about to be a bumpy ride.

IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY 11×03 Debriefing: Forget it, Charlie, it’s Party Mountain

There isn’t much that hasn’t done in eleven seasons, but this week, Sunny manages to find a new one: the gang goes skiing! In a hilarious send-up of every 80s movie ever, Dennis, Dee, Mac and Charlie head to Party Mountain, but they’ve all got different missions on this hill.

It’s time to shred, dudes!

AGENT CARTER 2X02 Debriefing: We’re just getting started

We pick up right where we left off in our previous chapter. Peggy’s consorting with swimming pools and movie stars — by way of Howard Stark’s mansion. There’s still work to be done at the SSR, so there’s no living the fab life for our intrepid heroine.

She’s back!

It’s been nearly a year since Peggy Carter last graced out screens, and boy, does she know how to make a comeback! With a transcontinental move and some old friends by her side, and foes at her neck, she proves that there’s nothing a little sunshine can’t make better.

Agent Carter is here to tell the world that women are just as powerful — and capable of evil — as their male counterparts, and it’s utterly fascinating to watch. If Season 1 was about Peggy clawing her way through the patriarchy, Season 2 seems to be setting up a whole new way of running the world, and it’s about time we all listened.

IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY 11×02 Debriefing: The gang goes time-traveling!

Okay, maybe not really, but this week on Sunny, a fortuitous event leads Frank and his children to stroll down memory lane. Which means Dee, Dennis, Mac and Charlie want to right the wrongs of the past decade — not by becoming better people, naturally, but by conning Frank out of the money he squandered once he re-entered their lives. Of course!

Can you believe it, X-Philes?

Where once another chapter in Mulder and Scully’s saga seemed but a pipe dream, now it’s gearing up to hit our screens in less than two weeks.

Last night, the folks at FOX hosted a party for The X-Files Season 10 premiere, and have graciously given fans a special peek into the festivities!

Since we’re pumped about the revival here at TYLL, we thought we’d take a glance at the snapshots to get us primed for “My Struggle,” season 10’s debut airing January 24th on FOX at 10pm ET/7pm PT.

We can’t wait for the new season to begin, but until then, we’ll bask in the fact that it’s 2016 and we’re still celebrating one of TV’s most iconic shows!

IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY Season 11 Premiere Debriefing: “It’s like all those other games too, but different enough legally.”

IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA -- "Chardee MacDennis 2: Electric Boogaloo" -- Episode 1101 (Airs Wednesday, January 6, 10:00 pm e/p) Pictured: (l-r) Andy Buckley as Andy, Danny DeVito as Frank, Charlie Day as Charlie, Rob McElhenney as Mac, Kaitlin Olson as Dee, Glenn Howerton as Dennis. In its season 11 premiere, the gang revisits past glories with a sequel to its Game of Games. CharDee MacDennis is back with a vengeance — and even more incomprehensible rules. When an executive from Mattel (The Office‘s Andy Buckley) drops in at Paddy’s and expresses interest in the product, it’s all hands on deck to prove why CharDee MacDennis 2: Electric Boogaloo is the thing we all wish Santa had dropped off this holiday season.

The gang tries to be on its best behavior to spin their game to their guest. “We just have to not care who wins,” they claim. Fat chance!
