If you’re a fan of Big Brother, you just kissed three nights of your summer weeks goodbye.

Just before tonight’s 90-minute finale, CBS announced that Big Brother has been picked up for two more seasons -17 and 18 – that will air in the summers of 2015 and 2016. The show, which premiered in 2000 and is hosted by Julie Chen, has been up both on viewers and the demos this year.

Similarly, Big Brother: After Dark has also been renewed for another season that will air in POP (currently TVGN).

Are you excited about these news? Are you going to watch tonight’s finale? If so, who are you rooting for to take it all?

While she insists she doesn’t have a specific type of show, they all usually have strong but flawed lady characters, some derivation of the stubborn friends-in-love/friends-to-lovers trope, and they all make her yell at her tv a lot.
